Throwing windows out the window
 

Hello,

I have landed here since deciding to move away from windows.

I'm pretty good on computers but very new to Linux. Started on PDP11-70 with punch cards back in 1976, moved via Apple II and many long years on various Macs to Windows when 2k was replaced by XP. I think Vista is a very good reason to move on again...

Tested many distros and found myself at the moment best servered with PClinuxOS. It seems to do the most out of the box and to make it to windows users a relative easy transition. Probably gonna move distro once I feel at ease.

Will eventually convert all PCs at home and at my company thus will have to teach my personnel...

Guess it will be great fun :)
