Just dropped in to say hi. I ditched Windows after using 10 for about two days and have been using nothing but Linux (mostly Ubuntu)for about a year. Two observations if I may.1)I love the way I can mess stuff up as often as I like, and if I can't fix it,I can just do a clean install.Since I have always kept data on a separate drive, this is simple.2)Once I got used to the Unity desktop I found it very easy to use and pretty bulletproof.I especially like the search function.I don't need to know what a program or function is called to find it.Usually one or two letters of what I want is enough to find it.I find this helpful on my old laptop,as I dont need any icons on the desktop:just use the search function instead.Sorry to ramble on.Love Linux.
