Question Redhat 9.0 Proxy [squid]

Redhat 9.0 Proxy [squid]

i have a problem in Redhat 9.0
for configuration of a Proxy [squid]
when i do
"service squid start.....'
then i received a messege
that is

{init_cache_dir /cache..................................starting squid....[FAILED] }

kindly i wanted information in Detail...thanks
