I have been working with Linux for years but am like the skier perpetually stuck on intermediate slopes. I started with IBM in 1960 in Poughkeepsie, NY as a graveyard shift "machine operator/programmer trainee". Only three subsequent jobs, including owner/operator for 9 years of early US computer store. Just turned 73, am retired but spending much time playing on my Linux PC and doing occasional Python programming for small change.
