Talking Newbie mom says hello

Hi everyone! I am a stay at home mum and recenlty got an aspire one netbook with linux linpus lite.. i have always been interested in unix and now look forward to learning. i have turned to this site a few times and recieved help by just reading what other newbies have asked and answers that they got. Thanks so much already.

Hi, and welcome to LinuxQuestions! I'm sure you'll find our community an engaging place to learn quite a bit, and hopefully contribute back as well!

I thought about an Aspire One, but never got into it... the touchpad buttons on the side always seemed a bit weird to me.
