Unhappy newbie from Michigan

Hello. I have recently returned to the Linux world via Fedora Core 10 (FC10). The install went well, the wireless and printer connections did not. The wireless connection (broadcom built-in in a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with a 500GB HD and 2GB of memory) was cured by an FC10 update via a wired connection to a Linksys WAP54G router. Once the update was complete, the wireless connection started on it's own and has been running well ever since, including restarts and reboots.

I do need help with printing. Despite being able to read and write to a HP laptop on the LAN, printing to the shared printer on the HP has proved impossible. While I suspect SAMBA (smb) settings, I do not know where to look. I have a copy of the Wiley FC10 (RHEL) "Bible" and have not found a solution.

The Dell is dual booted with Windows Vista Home Premium and does not have printer issues.

Thank you!
