Hello all. I'm an old Unix user and have now decided Linux was the way to go with my laptop. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. It's so stable compared to Windows and all the old stuff is starting to come back (very slowly though). I'm using Ubuntu 8. Customized it easily. Very cool!

Seriously, If I had not learned Unix in my less-senile years, I might never have tackled Linux.
