Being tired of running a repair disk-unauthorized version of Windows XP
on my 2nd computer. I installed "Linux Mint". Used Free Download Manager,
NCH Express Burn, set the bios to boot from CD\DVD. Worked really well.
Runs a lot of the same programs as Windows. Just as good and it's FREE

Wink nube question

Thanks for the welcome, etech
I have a question about sound cards.
I have a Gatway desktop with a intel D915 mother board. I installed linux Mint kde, xfce
and cinnnamon, none would work with the sound board. So I installed
Ubuntu 12.40 and tried Fodera 17 and they work fine with the sound board.
They are totaly awsome. The sound works. Is there a fix for this or is it just the way it is?
