New to LinuxQuestions

Good Morning Everyone:

My name is Michael and I have been a server side PHP web application developer for just about 10 years. I am becoming more involved with the actual server environment and need some assistance with bash scripting.

I am new to the site and need assistance with a bash script that fires when a unique user logs in.

I simply need the correct terminology for this purpose so I can find some examples.

I look forward to using LinuxQuestions.

Hi and welcome to LQ Michael, it would be best to start a new thread with the title Bash Script in the Linux - Newbie Forum so that you can get the exposure. Some of the members skip over the intro forum.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ
Take a look at
