New to Linux--Glad to be here

I run a small neighborhood computer access lab. I have about 8-10 Dells with processor speeds from 1.4 up to 2 GHz, and most with .5 to 1 Gib RAM.

I've recently been switching the lab over to run an Edubuntu server, and in the process, I have also resurrected an old PPC iBook with the minty-fresh flavor of MintPPC 9.0 on top of Debian Squeeze.

I'm typing this right now on an 8 year old Dell that barely runs Win7 and will soon be converted to some variety of Linux. I am leaning toward Ubuntu so that I can easily keep up with my lab from home, but I'm not locked in to that, which of course is one of the beauties of Linux--not being "locked in" to anything!
