Unhappy New to Linux- CentOS 5.0 for Asterisk IP PBX build

Hi, my name is John and I live in Denver Colorado. I am posting this (hopefully) brief introduction as requested of new members. I am not a programmer by training or profession. I am a telecommunications engineer/technician on any given day, but not knowing better has never stopped me before, so why start stopping now?

<smile>

I am starting to build an Asterisk PBX on CentOS 5.0 Linux and am struggling! I will post specific questions in the appropriate forums. So there you have it!
