I'd just like to write a few words to say hello to all the Linux users out there and briefly introduce myself.

I first got the internet in 2001 and was a Windows user up until a month ago. My natural sense of curiosity led me to search out a Linux distro to download (well first I had to find out exactly what Linux IS) then I went about preparing myself for the install and took the plunge.

As you can see my current distro of choice is Libranet 2.7 which I'm really happy with. Needless to say I've had some "bugger-this-I'm-going-back-to-Windows" moments but they pass and I'm glad I didn't.

Because I like to still chat in MSN occasionally I still use Windows but for everything else I'm glad to boot into Linux and look forward everyday to learning more and more.

It is nice to hear someone wants to break away and try out Linux. If you have trouble with configuration or setup, post a message on this site, there are a lot of clever folks willing to give some help.
