code007 LQ Newbie Registered: Nov 2009 Posts: 1 Rep:	New to forum and to Linux in general I just joined the forum. I have been using the other OS (windows) for 20 years and have installed Ubuntu (which was really easy). I am trying to figure out how to configure my x windows when running the BackTrack 4 live cd. After entering the startx I get an error message that the display is out of sync range.
