Hello all... I'm looking to really immerse myself in the Linux community and I figured what better place to start than the place I plan to post my numerous questions to! So with all due respect, don't get too frustrated with me...I'm very new to Linux and I'm hoping to work my way into an admin position with my company involving Linux...anyway, just wanted to post my "hello" to you all...I look forward to working with you... ;)

Welcome to LQ! When you have a question, just ask it (or first search for similar threads, as there's set of 'popular' problems when beginning with Linux). It's quite hard to frustrate people here by just asking questions.

Welcome Kevin,

You could not pick a better place to start. I have been using Linux for awhile and forums like this one are, I think, the best place to really learn the OS.

I have been on many forums, newsgroups, SIGS, Groups, etc... but I think this is by far the best forum I have come accross.

Post away!

http://www.google.com/linux is your friend, use it. You'll find answers faster than asking. If that fails feel free to ask, we'll try to make our best
