Hello to all. I'm Harley Cutchens age 65 retired and tinker with Linux.
I live in northeast Alabama near the Ga line. I started looking at linux because I began to hate Microsoft windows all versions. I like the price and open source software idea. I found this forum to hang out
and learn what I can. I've been into pc's since the early 80's dos 2.0 was the first system I used.
Thanks for providing this forum and all who contribute. Its great.
Thank you for the welcome. Larry, I live near Piedmont Alabama, just east of Gadsden and west of Cedartown, Ga. I'm not sure of the location of the other Piedmont, but In this state; nothing is surprizing and politicians make the impossible--- probable. Grapefruitgirl thanks to you too.
The other Piedmont is near Huntsville AL. That is pretty country you live in. I had a mother inlaw that lived in Fort Payne for some time before moving to Trenton GA.
