I am 82 years old and have been using Windows for years. I've
tried Linux several times and have been unhappy with it. I heard that Puppy Linux was good at reading Windows files into Linux and decided to give it another try. So far, I'm really impressed with the program. It's small, easy to setup and runs in upper memory from a live CD which makes it extremely fast. Sometimes too fast for these old fingers.
Of course, being a newbie, I have a bunch of questions right up front. I'll try to look up the appropriate forums to ask them.
I'm happy to join your group.
