N00b Saying Hi!
 
Hello good people!

I'm a sys eng at a major university. I've been working Solaris a lot for the past few years and have recently taken on the job of vmware admin. While I'm looking to run a Solaris machine on vmware, right now it's a windows/linux world in my environment. So, I'm looking at getting back into Linux and re-familiarizing myself with its goodness.

I used to admin Solaris and we are just now adding some Solaris DB backend servers to the environment. Unix is Unix so I find it rather easy once you get by the few peculiarities of each OS.
