Morning all, new member here
Morning everyone,
I have been lurking for a while, so decided to join in the discussions.
I have been a long time Linux user, average command line useage, mainly went to Linux due to Microsoft going stupid after Windows 7. Have tried many distros, mainly Debian based. I prefer Linux Mint, though I do dabble with LinuxBBQ spins just to work on my CLI skills when I have time.
My main interests are mobile devices, tablets and 2 in 1 devices primarily. Currently I am helping a friend who is working to bring a x86-based Linux tablet, with keyboard, to market. It is done as far as hardware and software development goes, now helping with spreading the word about it, so to hopefully get people interested in it.
I am trying to learn some coding skills to help with hopefully the next generation of his tablet line, just slow going due to my work load. Used to work with Python on some software I used for work several years back. Trying to re-learn that, plus maybe some C or C Plus down the road.
Hope I can provide some help where possible. I will try to learn what I can to pass on to others.
