logb LQ Newbie Registered: Jan 2007 Location: Somerset West, South Africa Distribution: Kubuntu Posts: 1 Rep:	Long-time member, lurking only until now! Just a quick intro... started running Ubuntu 5.04 (I think!) in around 2006; now on to 14.04, with a couple of servers running 12.04 and 14.04... both have RAID 5 with LVM, formatted with XFS... never any problems!! I started with Gnome 2 (liked it a lot), tried Unity (didn't like it), tried Gnome 3 (not really), now on KDE. Oh yes, also tried Arch briefly, but I wasn't ready for the rolling upgrade approach, so back to Kubuntu!
