Joli OS 1.2 user

I joined the Linux community for the first time over 1.5years ago when I was introduced to Jolicloud & I have exclusively used it at home ever since. That's saying a lot since I've exclusively used a Microsoft OS ever since the first IBM PC was released. I'm a happy Joli OS 1.2 user & can't wait for the update that is sure to come. Keep an eye out for them. It's going to be great!

All nice and "jollie" (forgive the wordplay - jollie is pretty in French) but, I just tried it today, on my (yeah, here we go again...) ArchOS9 tablet...though Poulsbo drivers were (according to the splash) loaded, no touch was available...too bad, because this thing could actually have gotten me to not have to get a laptop...it seems an ideal thing to do some chatting (webcam included) and some facebooking and so. If there's an OS that allows an on-screen keyboard and touch for the blasted thing . Oh, fair enough, I could (COULD, but don’t wanna) use a keyboard and mouse, but it's cumbersome.

Maybe it's just me having missed the details, happens to me sometimes...

Only touchscreen support they offer is for the Dell Inspiron Mini Duo, but that doesn't mean you can't get it to work on the Archos 9. See this guy's blog ob he was able to do it...

Thanks for the feedback...tried it, it failed (again)...why don’t I just throw the *** thing away, get a clean breath of air and get a decent laptop. I've had it with everyone's hand-me-downs...
