Its time to introduce myself to LQ

Hi all, I have been using DOS and then all versions of Windows since their conceptions but when Linux came on the scene I never seemed to have time to try it. Now I'm retired I thought that I would install it on a spare machine and see what I have been missing. So I'm going to spend time over Christmas reading through some of the many threads on LQ to help me decide what distributions I should try. Anyway Happy Christmas to everyone reading this thread. Terry.
