Short introduction to introduce myself. Been working in IT for about 8 Years. Fairly new to the Linux side of things. Have successfully setup a gentoo installation for basic firewalling at my office. This I use as my test machine to play with so I don't break thinks at clients.
I support a few clients who have existing Gentoo server installations.
Having some issues at one client which has a Gentoo server for Mail, Squid (With WPAD for auto proxy setup), Firewalling, Load Balancing between two ISP connections. Internet performance is not great here, trying to isolate where the issues are so I can improve the performance on the Internet side of things.
Thank's for the feedback. The client's I have been to that use the Auto Proxy work well. I have been battling with my client. Hopefully the guy who configured the server initially will be coming to the office on Friday so we can resolve these issues.
