Introducing Myself

Greetings to all:

I have been lurking around Linux from the RHL 3.0 days, but never able to make it work as well as I would like.
The time has come to buckle down and understand how to make it work.

Welcome to LQ!

A lot has changed since Red Hat 3.0. There are several distros that are very noob friendly and some even offer live CD's so you can try them out without installing anything. If you liked Red Hat check out Fedora, you can get a lot of info here and over at

Have Fun!
