Intro+Where do I find downloaded rpms
 

Hi,I am Easwar H,an undergrad in Elex and Telecom Engg,Bombay Uni.
I downloaded wine from winehq and as Firefox demanded,I opened it with the default option of Software installer.I would like to make a backup copy of the rpm.Where do I find it?

Distro:Mandriva 2007 Free
Machine:x86_64:newbie:

Where did you save it to?

by default firefox will download and save things automatically somewhere, check in the preferences.

its probably in your home dir, try,

find ~/ -name '*.rpm' --print

Nopes,it showed me the Limewire and flash plugin for FF rpms which I had long ago downloaded to my desktop but no wine rpm.....
