I'm LuxeSaber
Hi I'm LuxeSaber, and I'm an alcoholic... ok not really.
I started experimenting wiht Linux about 18 months ago with Knoppix. I thought it was a fun Live-CD, but it was missing something, wasn't sure what it was. As of right now I have tried several different flavors of Linux including:
Debian
Knoppix, SciKnoppix
Simply Mepis
Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu
Kanotix, Sidux
DSL
Zenwalk
XFLD
Dead-CD
SysRescue CD
...plus a bunch of variations
I'm currently running (and quite satisfied with) Xubuntu Edgy Eft (6.10)
This is the first Linux forum I ahve joined, although I have had to check many different forums in the past to resolve issues with each distro I have tried. I'm not highly versed in command-line but I am learning as I go.
The only distros I have not enjoyed were anything RPM-based, Red Hat, Mandriva, and not a huge fan of GNOME in general. If I have any questions that need answering I know where to go and if anyone has questions I can answer I'd be happy to.
