Hi, I'm a sysadmin from Brazil and have used GNU/Linux for 15+ years now.

I came across LQ threads many times in the past, solving more issues than I should have cared for :)

I just bought a new rig, and because I do not have as much free time as I used to, I won't be installing old faithful Slackware on it - I'm going debian on this one.

I'll ask (in another post) about some issues I'm having with my new rig, but would also be very proud if I get to help others out around here - after all, more often than not when I throw an error message at Google, there's some LQ thread at the first page.

So not only is this a "how do you do" post, but also a "thank you very very much" one! :D
