This card needs to use ndiswrapper with the windows driver.

Welcome to LQ. Just a tip: edit your profile to show your distro and location - it helps us provide more complete answers. Thank you.

Hello.

In my opinion it won't be a good idea to ask everything step-by-step (at least on basic things) on how you can make your system work. Here in linux you must also do your homework. You must also try to do your own research and try to learn your own way like the others did.

I suggest you first start searching the web before asking common or something-that-needs-self-study questions about linux. There are already a lot of documentations and posts regarding your problems. For example, you can start searching in things like 'network howto' or 'wireless howto'. Remember that the search engines are your friend.

Here is a thread that refers to some guidelines for posting or asking for help:

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-forum-103564/

Here's a good documentation about networking in linux for beginners and administrators alike:

http://www.faqs.org/docs/linux_network/index.html

Please read them. It will surely help you a lot not only now but also in the future.

Still that is no excuse to act that way so please don't.
Why not help him instead?

@bochard_20: like Simon Bridge already said, please fill in your distribution info in your profile. And if you've got a question about Wireless LAN, please create your thread in the Networking wireless subforum. Thanks.
