hi

Hello - My name is Anthony, and I am from Canberra, Australia.

On the subject of Linux, did you know that on one of Linus Torvald's visits to Canberra, he got his inspiration for Tux the Penguin at our National Zoo? There's a big plaque about it at the zoo. There is actually quite a large linux community in Canberra. If you're ever in Australia you should come check it out.

Canberra is a beautiful city. You won't regret it.

Probably a lot of you here are better at Linux than I am. I have experimented with various different kinds (Ubuntu, Fedora, Kororaa) but at the moment I mess around with Xandros on my eee pc.

Bye for now.

Hi, Welcome to LQ.

Too many round-a-bouts for me, I get lost too easy.

Been there about 5 times.

LQ has a fantastic search function that may save you time waiting for an answer to a popular question.

Cheers from Bris-vagas,

regards Glenn

Xandros is a proprietary OS, where Fedora, Mandriva, Redhat, Debian, etc are fully hackable, GNU/Linux. Free and Open Source Software

I'm sure in no time you will wise up and get a real distro.lol

Cheers Glenn
