Just a short intro post.
While I've always been interested in Linux, I've never worked anywhere that actively used it..until now. All of our webservers are CentOS, and unfortunately our one and only sysadmin was let go because he wouldn't play politics with his boss. So now I'm the sysadmin until we hire someone. Unfortunately, I really have no clue what I'm doing, and it's only luck that we haven't crashed yet.
The good news is that now my interest in Linux has been given the go-ahead, and I'm rapidly absorbing all the knowledge that I can.
Eventually I hope to contribute to this site, but for now I'm just going to be an avid lurker.
