Hello Linux community!

I'm am totally new to Linux but I really want to learn it. My friend turned me onto it when he started showing me his Linux laptop. I got really interested and thought that this was something I really wanted to do. He got me so interested that I thought about making a career out of it and going to school for it. But right now I'm not really in a good position to go back to school so I figured I would try and teach myself. The only thing is, is that I'm going into this completely blind. My friend does try to help but he lives two hours away and isn't always online when I need him.

So I'm here to learn and hopefully one day to teach Linux.

Not to curb your enthusiasm but I'd say practice a bit and see in a year if you still think that way.

Well we're here 24/7. So come on and break something. That would give us something to fix ;-p
