Thumbs up Hello From Washington

I got hired (finally) at the library at Central Washington University as a systems programmer on Jan 17, 2006. I've been learning how to be a systems admin as I will eventually be responsible for our web and database servers. I've learned a LOT so far, but I still humbly consider myself a newbie. I have two HP Proliant DL380's that I use to learn on/toy with. I've installed/reinstalled such OS's as Fedora, FreeBSD and SuSE on them. I've installed/configured/ran Apache, MySQL, Samba, PHP Postfix and others. I still have a long way to go, but it's a fun journey...

I look forward to tapping into the vast knowledge and experience of the members of the LQ forums. Hopefully before long I'll be able to answer some questions as well.
