Welcome to Linux! Suse is a great distribution to start with.

What is Tokyo like? I have always wanted to go to Japan, especially Kyoto and Tokyo.

What's Tokyo like?

What's Tokyo like?
hmm- thats tricky.
Busy, crowded, hot right now, convenient, ultrafast broadband (100mbit fiber at home), full of crazy people.
A great but strange mix / clash of the old and new (both physically and thinking wise).
Pretty good place to live if you are into technology :-)
Cheers,
Sean.
PS. confused? excellent - just what it's like here :-D

Thanks for the response. I live in Las Vegas so you don't have to tell me about heat (it's 103 outside right now). It seems like an exciting place to live, but I hear that living in Japan is pretty expensive. Is this true?

Hi, where are you staying? Anywhere near Akihabara? I just love the street one block north of the main road (where all the computer stuff is most heavily concentrated).
