Hello from Switzerland!

hello folks,

im the new guy....I was born in 86 and have always had this strange attraction to linux and at the same time I feared it, I have always had an interest in taking things apart and knowing what makes them tick. In past years I had much fun installing CW on my psp fat (pandora battery method) and recently iv taken a liking to "rooting" adroid devices.

though I remain light years away from any form of coding its something im hopping to dive into as well soon....

anyway I plan to install linux (and the world it will open) on a 2009 mac mini i have catching dust.....

but enough rambling, glad to be part of the community! ill start my reading on this forum but if you folks have some "must reads" to suggest please do swing them by me....

regards
Jeff

Hi Jeff, a.k.a. swisswiss and welcome to LQ!

I find the Programming forum an interesting read. There are tutorials in the sticky links at the top of the forum.
