Talking Hello from Newbie and LFS101x Introduction to Linux

Hi everyone.

As a Newbie I thought I'd take a look at the free edX course LFS101x Introduction to Linux. It's very interesting but I wonder how many others who are starting off will be using the command line to the point where well be using things like grep, join etc. as I'm mainly sticking to the GUI in Ubuntu 14.04.

As an aside, the other courses on edX - also free unless you need certification - are pretty good to. At my own pace I'm taking CS50x and COMP102x which are quite good fun.

Hope I don't need the forum too much but glad to know it's there.
