Thumbs up Hello from Kansas

Hello, my name is Brian Williams. I am a very certified SUN Microsystems Hardware Field Engineer. I am what is considered a PE4 which is a SSE (Systems Support Engineer). I work on all SUN hardware in the Enterprise and Sunfire lines.

I have been using Linux for many years. I remember using Slackware when it first came out on floppy disks !! I currently run linux to host my samba server in my home. I have ran linux on several laptops and recently on my Dell Latitude D600 which I have removed because MS (MicroShaft) was needing more and more HD space for apps. I am getting ready to setup an Asterisk server to have IP phones in the home. My interest are in Slackware and Linux security.

I have also had several small businesses but now I am enjoying my wife, 4 kids, and my job with SUN. Life is good !!

Thanks
Brian Williams
