Hello from a former low-end tabletPC user

Hi. I've been using *nix since the SunOS4.13 days. From there I moved to NetBSD until the lack of multi-processor support drove me to CentOS. From there I moved to Ubuntu (needed a "fresher" system). Since TabletPC support in Ubuntu is not good (at least on the two TabletPC's I have) I moved to Fedora 16. Now my main TabletPC has died (needs new motherboard) and the older on doesn't have enough memory for modern day OS (256K max limit in hardware).

I'm running Fedora 17 on an old Dell Inspiron 4150 until I get enough cache together for either an off-lease Toshiba Tecra M700 (my dead TablePC is a Tecra M4) or a newer slate style device. Dell's in the market now with some nice machines but they're way out of my price range.

Just thought I'd say hello (like the e-mail nagged me to do)...
