I have been a Linux user for many years and was surprised to learn that I had never posted on this site, so here goes.
I have tried many of the OS's and of them all I find Linux Mint to be the one I prefer. I am now using the latest stable version. Mint 17.3 (Rosa) in the Mate/Gnome form.
Yes, I still keep Windows around (a dualboot) just for only those times when that OS is needed.
