Welcome! Let's hope you don't need too many problems solved. If you do, the golden rules to get a quick solution are

1. Use a clear title for post, rather than "help" or "urgent"
2. Say which distro you're using, including the version and the desktop
3. Report exactly what happened, rather than "I got an error message" or "it didn't work"
4. Report anything you did to try to solve it yourself, and what happened then.

Even the weirdest problems will usually have someone who's seen it before, and the only silly question is the one you never asked.
