Hello everyone =)

This is my first time coming to LQ, first time even thinking about changing my OS and first few weeks getting serious about coding and gathering a greater knowledge on computers than the basic stuff they teach in school. So far I've started off learning Python on Windows Vista then I heard Linux was a much better OS for learning how to code and learning more about computers in general. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit intimidated by Linux because by what I've heard on other sites it's not very newbie friendly. I hope they get proven wrong though. =) Well I guess I'll see everyone around the site hope to make a lot of friends here!
