I am living in Libya and I am heading FOSSiL (Free and Open Source Software in Libya) group. We are preparing for Linux Day in Libya. It will be on January 24, 2009 in Tripoli (the capital of Libya) in the center of the most prestigious places in the center of Tripoli. It is the "That Al-Imad" complex where a lot of companies (such as Eni-Gas, Tamoil, Repsol, Libyan Foreigner Bank, ...) are located. We will have workshop and lectures running in parallel. If any of you have a note, lecture, information, or anything that he fells it is worth to be announced during the day, please send it to me. I am appreciating very much your inputs.

The event will be the first in Libya. This event will be an introduction for "FOSS" applications for the Libyan society. That is why we are looking to make it very promising. So, I am asking if there is an article, presentation, document, or any material any of you thinks it will be good to be mentioned for better introducing FOSS.
