Hello all from California
Hello everyone! Super newb Linux user/Mac-faithful, Darwin tinkerer here.
Work is willing to pay for Linux training and the goals I've set for this year are Linux+ (LPIC1), and RHCSA by end of the year. As you can see I have a steep learning curve ahead of me so I may very well be in these forums everyday. Currently doing all my learning on Centos 5.5 so if you can't find me here, i'm most likely in #centos on IRC. Catch yall later. :hattip: :study: |
Well if you're used to Darwin then Linux should be *very* easy for you. Welcome to LQ!

Thanks! And when I say I tinkered with Darwin I really do mean it. I only know a handful of basic comands but yeah so far the command line is very similar. I feel Darwin's man pages are a bit more user friendly though, but it could just be just CentOS...
Oh well, I'm in the rabbit hole and it doesn't look like I'm coming out any time soon...there goes my life... |
