Okay so I am to post that my thread was resolved, it has been. I sent out a hello everyone message after joining and some have reply.

Hi...

How do you mean? Do you want to mark this thread as solved? In other LQ forums, you can mark a thread "SOLVED" by clicking on "thread Tools," however, in the "General" forum and I believe this one, that option is not present. You can try editing the subject line in your initial post and see if that works, as an alternative.

Hi Ardvark.

I can confirm that these intro threads don't have the mark solved feature.

But carletonwalker, there's really no need to do anything.
