Smile Hello

Hi
I am used to go on unix or Linux servers when I'm at work but I never had a unix or linux at home. So I asked an old friend of mine, Kikinovak (member of this forum) which distribution I should take. He told me to install slackware. So did I. Everything's not configurated yet. I think I will need your held.

We will be happy to help. I started with Slackware, quite by accident, and am glad I did.

When you have a question, please provide as much detail as possible. These guidelines should help.

The Slackwiki, which is still under development, is a good reference. The Slackbook is somewhat dated, but still valid and relevant--there's just some newer stuff which isn't in there.
