Hello,

Cut my teeth on a DOS 2.0 machine with one floppy, have done some programming (IBM AS/400 mostly RPG and CL) not really in the field any more. I have used Linux on my home computer for about seven years (currently Mint with Cinnamon), still can't convince my wife that she should also. I recently was given a retired server that I intend to play with, learning virtualization and whatever else fits my fancy. Have gotten very good answers from this site over the years and decided it was finally time to join. With any luck I may even be eventually able to contribute something useful.

Sam
