Hello =] Introductions Are In Order

Hello!

I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm trying to learn Linux now, so if you see me asking a ton of questions I apologize in advance! Not sure exactly how much Linux would help me in the future but a lot of people are recommending it, so I figured that this would be as safe a place as any to try to learn!

The most I've done with Linux is get it installed... past that I haven't been able to do much else because quite frankly I have no idea what I'm doing. Any tips and pointers for a truly new beginner here would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to LQ, looking forward to your participation. There is a steep learmomg curve with linux, but onxe it starts coming in line it gets easier. Do not forget to search before asking questions because of lot of the problems have been solved. It helps if you have a buddy that can help with a walk trough.
