Happy new year and the best to all of you

I am new to LQ and this is my first post. I hope I can contribute to this forum and also hoping to find some answers I might have this year. At this point we still use a real time extension (rt8) with our current kernel level of 2.6.20. We use Linux (mandriva) as a real time control engine for our nanomachine environment.
