Post Greetings, Formal Introduction

Hey all, my name is Robert. I live in New Zealand. I have been using Ubuntu off and on since 5.04 and i believe that Ubuntu 10.04 is finally ready to challenge Microsoft. Windows 7 is unstable, and to busy. To much eye candy, and is generally unreliable.

I was first introduced to Ubuntu about June 2005, and i thought it had potential, IF it was harnessed and managed properly. I am proud to say that Canonical, http://www.canonical.com/, has managed this specific distribution of GNU/Linux to a manner that would have it up to the stage that is what I consider the 'true meaning of 'Free Software".

Would love to recommend this Distro to anyone who askes about Linux and i can probably answer quite a few Q's about this Distro. Just remember, as of 11/06/2010, I am a newbie here to this forum.

Go Ubuntu! Go GNU/Linux! Go Free Software!
