Greetings fellow penguins!

I'm a retiree who's finally weaned myself off Winderz after a nasty New Year's Day virus. Worked with those from DOS through all viable versions - last install was a WinXP (& still have Win7 on a laptop). Converted to Ubuntu 11.10 on the advice of #2 son. Right now I'm installing same OS on a faster machine. Appreciate all your help and expert advice as I muddle through this - relearning new command lines. ~ Cheers!
