I've used LQ so, so many times in the past n years that I thought it was about time to join the party.

I'm Steve, aka warpgeek. Yes, bit of an unoriginal handle but who cares. I hope I (as either personna) can be helpful to other members of this forum.

I'm UK-based and run a small open source/hosting company. I lurk on the mailing lists of the Surrey Linux User Group (and Hampshire's, too) and occassionally get myself along to meetings.

I managed to obtain a Red Hat Certified Engineer, er, certification... (tough exam!) and grew up on Fedora (after starting Linux life on SuSE 7.2, back in 2000). Have tried Ubuntu, which seemed to get progressively slower from 10.04-11.04, so am now trying Debian 6, which is running pretty well on my set-up.

I'm looking forward to helping and chatting with fellow geeks and noobs alike.
