G'Day

I've been lurking on this forum for years but only just got round to posting.

I've been messing with computers since I fell in love with them in 1972 and immediately decided to make them my career. I've worked in many areas of the industry, from hardware up to management and out to Software Project Management and database design. I'm nominally retired these days but still get my regular fix.

With regard to *[iu]x systems, I first used BSD on DEC hardware in the '70s, then SCO Xenix and later all manner of Linux distros from server farms to Raspberry Pi as well as modern BSD in the form of MacOS.

And as the subject line hints, I'm in Australia. In fact, about as far south as you can get in Australia - southern Tasmania.

Cheers
Brian

Glad to hear from you

G'Day Brian.

I spent a month on Holiday about 10 years ago in Australia. Traversed most of Australia. Loved my visit to Tasmania (Hobart mainly).
